I'm not really going to bother posting the links in this journal. Call me lazy, whatever.

This account is pretty much dead, to be honest. Those of you guys who have watched me for years, thanks a lot for the support. I originally wanted to have the two separate accounts for the purpose of separating my original stuff from the fanart, but now I kind of get that it's more like I'm transitioning from one account to the other.

No worries, I'm not closing this account and wiping it clean. I've put too much time and heart into all the stuff I have up in this account to do that. The truth of the matter is, I've been wanting to close this account for some time. The whole "morrie-chan" deal is kind of old to me. I'm actually thinking about renaming my LJ account too (it's a pain to have to pay money to do that, though).

I made this account when I was 15 years old. I was a hardcore (what is now known on the web as a) "weeaboo", and I didn't really have a clue of how the internet really can be to artists. It can be harsh sometimes, and for the most part, you tend to get ignored. In fact, unless you're absolutely amazing at what you're doing, most people don't even give it a second glance. I have yet to reach that level, and maybe I never will, but I really don't care that much anymore. Pageviews are something that isn't really all that important, to be totally honest. Art is supposed to be self-expression, not self-advertisement.

I've had a lot of good times and bad times with this DA account. The fancharacters, the crack pairings, the tedious arguments with people who think they're better then you or don't like the pairings you like, the rants and raves I've gone on. There are things I'd always like to remember, but there are just as many things I'd easily like to forget. I've burned out of three (almost four) fandoms, but I've jumped into so many more that I would've never have even considered.

Anyway, this is my last goodbye on DeviantART as Morrie-chan. Of course, I'm not leaving entirely. Basically, it's like having two apartments in different cities, like a lot of celebrities do. But I like the newer apartment so much that I decide to keep just the one and sell the other...only I'm not selling this DA account. XD

So, you guys can find me in my new apart--um, account. If you haven't watched that account already, go ahead and watch if you want. I won't hold it against you if you don't, it's no big deal. The internet is, after all, a series of tubes.
